The newspaper "New Surrealist Investigations" is a special edition created by Magma in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou , on the occasion of the centenary of the surrealist movement and the retrospective exhibition held at the Musée National d'Art Moderne. This large-format publication brings together previously unpublished contributions from more than 150 artists, writers, musicians, filmmakers and academics from around the world, who revisit the surrealist investigations conducted between 1919 and 1957.
These original investigations, which explored diverse topics ranging from art to sexuality, inspired contemporary responses in the form of texts and visual works. The project aims to provide a platform for dialogue between the public and the artists, while delving into the intimacy of their view of the world.
